awesome work!:) (Smile)  You made her look so cute and innocent! It's amazing how you can take off the heavy makeup of a normal monster high doll and make it look ten times better! Nice job! Clap

Just plain stunning. You completely reshaped her eyes with nothing but paint. I'm very impressed.

Very nice, may i ask where you got the dolls? I have been looking for these kind of blank dolls for awhile :)

The doll wasn't blank at first; it was a Monster High Doll.

What would you say the pros and cons are of buying a re-paint of a Monster High Doll instead of a BJD? Excluding the money..!

Excluding money, I'd say it's mostly just personal preference as to what you like better. Monster High Dolls have different facial sculpts from BJD's. I've personally noticed Monster High dolls have fuller lips and wider sculpts in the head. I'd take a peek at the different facial sculpts between the two.
Customization wise, BJD's have more options for their wigs, as well as having eye holes for eyes. You can do that with MHD's but it involves having someone cut the eyes open for you, and from there you'd have to be careful with the faceup when replacing the eyes since the head is made of vinyl.

I'll get hate for this, but... this reminds me of a pony called Twilight Sparkle... XD
Jokes aside, it's beautiful. Absolutely amazing. -^u^-

wow, I wish the real dolls looked like this.

The original has a really cheap and ugly looking design. Yours is much more appealing. And it doesn't lose that gothic vampire look.

Wow...she looks like a completely different doll.. I have a couple create-a-monster blank heads but don't know where to start. Does it use same materials/paints as a resin BJD?

I'm saving up money for my first BJD, shes gonna be a Kid Delf Nana. She's soooooo cute and I'm coming to you for her first faceup! ^u^ I've never had a BJD before so this will be new for me; I'm looking forward to seeing her character completely assembled!

My only problem with the remake is that you got rid of her heart-shapes birthmark. I feel like she's not Draculara if the mark isn't there. But besides that, it's a good remake.

Of course, that is because she is not supposed to represent the original "Draculaura" character anymore ;)

So beautiful. I've always wanted to try customizing a doll but I don't know how to do it or if I'm even skilled enough.

i have noticed something that irks me about most of your customers, you seem to always paint the lips in a way that make them seem perma pout or perma duckface, it may just be the way you shade them but the mouths seriously look like a taky photo most of the time...love the rest of the face though :D

I think with the monster high dolls, that's just how their faces are. You can see in the middle image that that's how her lips are shaped, the original lipstick covers that shape.
