I couldn't find any info on fixatives in your FAQ either here or on You Tube...does that mean you do not use any? If so then How do you manage to keep the layers from interfering with each other?

My Doll F.A.Q. linked on the front of my page will have the full list of materials including my sealant of choice. My Youtube channel has an in-depth explanation about sealing as well just search for anything similar to "andreja sealants" on google or youtube.

Wonderful Job!
I have a Freya Bjd and want to get her face up done. What sort of Sealer do you use, and do you use any sort of fixative to protect the layers of pastel, and pencil. Can standard fixative be used, or is there a special sort of brand to use?

Hello Andreja,

I am holding a presentation on ball-jointed dolls (in Japanese, gasp!) and I would love to use this picture to illustrate what a face-up exactly is. It there is enough time I would also like to show one of the 'Face-up Stories' videos in class. It will only be show once to a group of max. 10 people, and after I get my grade it will be deleted again. So I hope you'll allow me to use this picture! ^^

Thanks in advance,

~ Pete

I just can't get it around my head how you get so thin and beautiful lines with watercolor pencils! and the eyeliner with pencil too...! I didn't think those were possible. *-* What pastels do you use? I can't ever get that rich and beautifully blended color.

Thank you for this great video, it gave a a lot of pointers to try out and develop my own skills with faceups! I look forward seeing more of these!

I watched this and it was great! It amazes me how you can take something blank and make it so beautiful! I guess I'm just not very good at imagining what things could be :3
